How DID you do that in photoshop? I can never make my stuff look painterly =__=
honestly, it was only just a sketch. then colored under the sketch layer and put down basic gradient shadows, then made a layer OVER it for more detailed shadows/highlights. once i felt the sketch was safe to go over, i merged them all and continued to trudge along from there aha.
